Over her career Jackie Weiss has led teams in a range of roles including sales, marketing, business development and finance. She founded 12th Street Advisors to support founders and organizations in driving profitable growth, managing finances and operations strategically, cultivating effective teams, preparing for capital-raises and exits, and meeting a host of other business challenges.
As a fractional CFO, Jackie helps teams focus on high-impact priorities, whether the goal is profitable growth, or restructuring. She serves as a coach for CEOs who want to feel more in control of their organization’s finances and operations during start-up, growth and exit phases.
Jackie began her career as an equity research analyst at Merrill Lynch. She transitioned from the automotive equity research team, to Michelin, where she helped launch the Michelin restaurant guides in North America. From there she joined Moleskine, the notebook and design brand, and led sales and business development, opening new channels and markets, and tripling sales in four years. She was recruited by Google to drive growth at its newly-acquired Zagat brand. Shifting back to finance, this time on the private side, she joined Beal Private Capital to work with venture and growth equity fund managers and private companies on capital formation. She has served as CFO and business advisor to companies in business services, e-commerce, healthtech, and others.
Jackie lives in New York City. She has a B.A. in History from Duke University, an M.A. from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
